Lifeline Installation Training<\/strong> is a technical expertise program covering the assembly and commissioning processes of life-saving systems in accordance with engineering principles in working at height fields. Pursuant to the OHS Law No. 6331<\/strong>, the installation of lifeline systems must only be carried out by competent and manufacturer-approved personnel. The Arga Safety curriculum establishes a “Zero Error” installation discipline on your sites based on EN 795:2012<\/strong>, EN 353<\/strong>, and CEN\/TS 16415:2013<\/strong> standards, which define multiple user loads.<\/p>\n

Lifeline Engineering: Static Analysis and Installation Techniques<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A safe lifeline installation is not just about pulling wire ropes; it is about correctly calculating substrate strength and the shock loads (kN) that will be exerted on anchor points at the moment of a fall. Lifeline installation training<\/strong> provides participants with technical expertise such as anchor selection according to roof types, the importance of torque values, and waterproofing details. During the training, the intermediate anchor geometry of horizontal lifelines and the tensioning protocols of vertical systems are meticulously covered.<\/p>\n

Within the scope of this module, deformation analysis of system components, selection of highly corrosion-resistant<\/strong> materials, and the hierarchy of ABCD (Anchorage, Body Support, Connectors, Deceleration), which is the alphabet of the system, are transferred. How to label installed lines in accordance with EN 365<\/strong> and how to keep technical documentation (Logbook) are presented in a professional standard.<\/p>\n

Applied Assembly, Testing, and Reporting Modules<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the practical phase of the training, technical teams perform assembly and testing practices on real stations:<\/p>\n

  • Horizontal Lifeline Installation:<\/strong> Wire rope termination and tensioning operations of EN 795 standard fixed and mobile lines.<\/li>\n
  • Vertical Lifeline Assembly:<\/strong> Rope or rail system installation techniques on ladder and tower systems in accordance with EN 353-1\/2.<\/li>\n
  • Anchor Strength Tests:<\/strong> Verification of the installed system with static load testing devices and reporting of kN values.<\/li>\n
  • Field Analysis and Design:<\/strong> Projecting the line in the safest position according to clearance distance calculations.<\/li>\n
  • PPE Integration:<\/strong> Smoothness and locking tests of glider (Runner) and fall arrester systems on the line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
