HORIZONTAL LIFELINES

ARON

Fixed - Permanent Horizontal Lifeline

ARON Horizontal Lifelines are a type of fixed anchor system designed to ensure the safety of workers during various construction, maintenance, repair, assembly, and disassembly tasks. They can be used on all types of roofs for gutter cleaning, skylight maintenance, roof covering installations, solar panel mounting, overhead cranes, portal cranes, crane walkways, machine surfaces, and vehicle-mounted work. These systems are specifically engineered and manufactured to provide a secure working environment for employees.

STANDARDS FOR WORKING AT HEIGHT EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEM

When we examine statistics from our country and various other countries around the world, we see that nearly half of all workplace accidents involve workers who have fallen while working at height, resulting in fatalities or severe injuries.

Given this hazardous situation, the European Union has established safety and health requirements for equipment and systems used in work at height to ensure secure operations. These requirements were published in the European Council Directive 2001/45/EC. In addition to this directive, the safety conditions that height safety equipment must meet are also detailed in the (EU) 2016/425 Personal Protective Equipment Regulation and related harmonized standards.

As in the European Union and other countries that have adopted these standards, our country also has specific regulations for working at height. The fundamental principles regarding work at height are outlined in the Regulation on Occupational Health and Safety in Construction Work, while the training criteria for personnel working at height are specified in the Regulation on Procedures and Principles of Occupational Health and Safety Training for Employees.
