Search and Rescue Training

Search and Rescue Training

Search and Rescue Training is a highly disciplined program that includes professional intervention methods and safe evacuation protocols in disaster and emergency scenarios. Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 (Article 11) regulates that enterprises must maintain trained teams with appropriate equipment for search, rescue, and evacuation. Arga Safety provides your personnel with panic management during a crisis, as well as the competence to transport the casualty to a safe area using technical equipment.

Operational Emergency Preparedness and Evacuation Strategies

Seconds save lives during industrial accidents or natural disasters. Search and rescue training enables participants to quickly analyze the scene and select the most accurate rescue method. Our training curriculum covers Triage protocols and the management of safe escape routes in different environments such as fire scenes, collapsed structures, wells, and high structures.

In this process, teamwork and coordination are the most fundamental elements determining the success of the operation. With our training, while the technical depth of knowledge required by professional rescue teams is provided, how all personnel will provide support without endangering their own safety in accordance with the Emergency Action Plan is transferred through practical applications.

Applied Technical Rescue and Casualty Transport Modules

In the field phase of the training, it is aimed for the personnel to gain the reflexes of an “Emergency Response Specialist”. The techniques we specialize in this module are as follows:

  • Stretcher and Non-Stretcher Transport: Techniques for evacuating the casualty from confined spaces and heights while protecting spine integrity.
  • Use of Rescue Equipment: Active use of rescue tripods, vertical rescue stretchers (SKED), pulley systems, and mechanical advantage haulers.
  • Intervention Under Atmospheric Risk: Use of SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) in confined space rescues and detection of safe zones with gas detectors.
  • Rope Access and Technical Rescue: Controlled lowering of personnel suspended at height using EN 341 standard descenders.
  • Suspension Trauma and First Aid Integration: Management of physiological risks developing after a fall and life-saving interventions to be performed on the casualty until professional teams arrive.
