Flextra 140 D Y 110/2 Elastic Double Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a professional Y-type double-leg fall arrest equipment that ensures personnel remain continuously secured during vertical and horizontal line transitions in working at height operations. It is equipped with a high working capacity of 140 kg, a dynamic elastic webbing structure, and a lightweight, compact 20 mm Dyneema® (UHMWPE) tear-webbing shock absorber. It features a 3-action automatic locking lightweight aluminum oval carabiner on the shock absorber side and double-action aluminum scaffold hooks with an extra-wide 110 mm gate opening on the lanyard legs for extra-wide structural connections. Offering superior lightness with its all-aluminum hardware, it prevents snagging with dimensions of 1.34 m when retracted and 1.99 m when extended, while providing full compliance with EN 355:2002 and PPE-R 11.062 standards.

Flextra 140 D Y 110/2 Elastic Double Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard

Flextra 140 D Y 110/2 Elastic Double Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is specially developed to keep personnel 100% continuously secured (double leg Y principle) without disconnecting anchor ties when transitioning from one point to another during working at height activities on steel structures, lattice towers, wide pipeline systems, scaffolding, and industrial facilities. Thanks to its dynamic elastic internal webbing structure, it automatically contracts and retracts when not under tension, preventing it from tangling around the user’s feet, sagging, and snagging on surrounding obstacles; thus providing superior freedom of movement and working ergonomics in the field.

The shock absorber pack of the product is manufactured with high-strength, 20 mm wide Dyneema® (UHMWPE) tear-webbing technology. Thanks to this innovative structure, it is much lighter, more compact, and lower profile compared to conventional bulky shock absorbers. In the event of a possible fall, it tears open progressively and in a controlled manner, absorbing the impact force acting on the user’s body to reduce it below the 6 kN limit. High-strength bonded-type contrasting stitching threads make visual inspection and periodic check processes extremely fast and reliable. The labeling system housed inside a transparent protective sheath ensures that the serial number, year of manufacture, and periodic inspection tracking records remain protected without fading, even in the harshest field conditions.

In the Flextra 140 D Y 110/2 model, a lightweight aluminum oval carabiner with 3-action automatic locking is used on the shock absorber side, and double-action aluminum scaffold hooks with a 110 mm gate opening are featured at the ends of the lanyard legs to provide easy anchoring to extra-wide steel structures and pipes. Thanks to its all-aluminum connector combination, it offers the user maximum lightness and superior corrosion resistance. Operating reliably in extreme operating temperatures between -30°C and +70°C, the product is shipped in its own dedicated carrying bag.
