What is an Endless Webbing Sling?
Endless webbing sling is a critical anchorage element, typically manufactured from high-strength polyester or polyamide yarns, providing a secure connection point for working at height activities. These slings are divided into two categories as flat and tubular webbing; due to their static nature, their elongation rates are quite low. Generally produced with a width of 25mm, the endless webbing sling is among the most preferred anchorage equipment by users due to its high strength, flexible structure, foldability, and lightweight nature.
Depending on the manufacturer’s preference, special lines indicating load-bearing capacities may be found on the slings. Manufactured in our technical textile production facilities by ARGA SAFETY using CNC fully automatic sewing machines, the ES-25 Endless Sling is made from 25mm-wide tubular webbing. High-strength polyester bonded sewing threads are used in production. The ES-25 Endless Sling is the first in Turkey to be certified for simultaneous use by 2 workers.
Our system has different length options such as 0.50 meters, 1.00 meters, 1.50 meters, and 2.00 meters. Our products are tested and certified according to EN 795:2012 Type B, CEN/TS 16415:2013, and EN 566:2017 standards.
Endless Webbing Sling Application Areas
Endless webbing sling models are actively used in a large portion of working at height activities carried out within industrial structures. In factory environments, secure connections can be made to structural elements with the load-bearing strength expected by relevant standards using these slings.
Technicians can create secure anchorage points using the following structural elements during work such as mechanical, electrical, maintenance, repair, assembly, painting, scraping, and disassembly:
-
Concrete columns and beams,
-
HEA and IPN steel profiles,
-
Industrial pipes and box profiles.
These secure points, created by passing the endless webbing sling around structural elements, minimize the worker’s risk of falling. The quality of work performed while connected to secure anchorage points is much higher compared to unsafe methods.
