Flextra 140 D Y 60/2 Elastic Double Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a professional Y-type double-leg fall arrest equipment that ensures personnel remain continuously secured during vertical and horizontal line transitions in working at height operations. It is equipped with a high working capacity of 140 kg, a flexible elastic webbing structure, and a lightweight, compact 20 mm Dyneema® (UHMWPE) tear-webbing shock absorber. It features a 3-action automatic locking lightweight aluminum oval carabiner (OKA-18 T) on the shock absorber side and double-action aluminum scaffold hooks with a wide 60 mm gate opening (DSA-60) on the lanyard legs. Weighing only 1.490 kg with its all-aluminum hardware, it prevents snagging with dimensions of 1.21 m when retracted and 1.86 m when extended, while offering full compliance with EN 355:2002 and PPE-R 11.062 standards.

Flextra 140 D Y 60/2 Elastic Double Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard

Flextra 140 D Y 60/2 Elastic Double Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is specially developed to keep personnel 100% continuously secured (double leg Y principle) without disconnecting anchor ties when transitioning from one point to another during working at height activities on steel structures, scaffolding, towers, power transmission lines, and industrial facilities. Thanks to its dynamic elastic internal webbing structure, it automatically retracts and contracts when not under tension, preventing it from tangling around the user’s feet, sagging, and snagging on surrounding obstacles; thus providing superior mobility and working ergonomics in the field.

The shock absorber pack of the product is manufactured with high-strength, 20 mm wide Dyneema® (UHMWPE) tear-webbing technology. Thanks to this innovative structure, it is much lighter, more compact, and lower profile compared to conventional bulky shock absorbers. In the event of a possible fall, it tears open progressively and in a controlled manner, absorbing the impact load acting on the user’s body to reduce it below the 6 kN limit. High-strength bonded-type contrasting stitching threads ensure fast and error-free visual inspection and periodic check processes. The labeling system housed inside a transparent protective sheath prevents the erasure of serial numbers, year of manufacture, and periodic inspection data, even in harsh field conditions.

In the Flextra 140 D Y 60/2 model, a lightweight aluminum oval carabiner with 3-action automatic locking (OKA-18 T) is selected on the shock absorber side, and double-action aluminum scaffold hooks with a 60 mm gate opening (DSA-60) are used at the ends of the lanyard legs for easy connection to large pipe and profile structures. Thanks to its all-aluminum connector combination, it reduces the total weight to 1.490 kg, offering the user an extra lightweight advantage. Operating reliably in wide operating temperatures between -30°C and +70°C, the product is shipped in its own dedicated carrying bag.
