Flextra 140 D I 60/2 Elastic Single Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a single-leg professional fall arrest equipment developed for vertical and horizontal lifelines and fixed anchor points in working at height environments. It is equipped with a high working capacity of 140 kg, a flexible elastic webbing structure, and a lightweight, compact 20 mm Dyneema® (UHMWPE) tear-webbing shock absorber. It features a 3-action automatic locking lightweight aluminum oval carabiner (OKA-18 T) on the shock absorber side and a wide-gate double-action aluminum scaffold hook with a 60 mm gate opening (DSA-60) on the lanyard leg. With an all-aluminum hardware weighing only 0.790 kg and dimensions of 1.17 m when retracted and 1.73 m when extended, it prevents snagging while offering full compliance with EN 355:2002 and PPE-R 11.062 standards.

Flextra 140 D I 60/2 Elastic Single Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard is specially designed to safely arrest potential falls of personnel during fixed-point working at height operations on platforms, scaffolding, towers, vertical and horizontal lifelines, and industrial facilities. Thanks to its dynamic elastic internal webbing structure, it automatically contracts and retracts when not under tension, preventing it from tangling around the user’s feet, sagging, and snagging on surrounding obstacles; providing maximum freedom of movement and working comfort in the field.

The shock absorber pack of the product is manufactured with high-strength, 20 mm wide Dyneema® (UHMWPE) tear-webbing technology. Thanks to this advanced technology, it is much more compact, lightweight, and lower profile compared to conventional bulky shock absorbers. In the event of a possible fall, it tears open progressively and in a controlled manner to absorb the impact force, reducing the load acting on the user’s body below the 6 kN limit. High-strength bonded-type contrasting stitching threads ensure visual inspections and periodic check processes are extremely fast and reliable. The labeling system housed inside a transparent protective sheath ensures that the serial number, year of manufacture, and periodic inspection data remain protected without fading, even in harsh field conditions.

In the Flextra 140 D I 60/2 model, a lightweight aluminum oval carabiner with 3-action automatic locking (OKA-18 T) is used on the shock absorber side, and a lightweight double-action aluminum scaffold hook with a 60 mm gate opening (DSA-60) is featured at the end of the lanyard leg to enable easy connection to wide profile and pipe structures. Thanks to its all-aluminum connector combination, it reduces the total weight to 0.790 kg, offering the user an extra lightweight advantage. Delivering superior performance in extreme operating temperatures between -30°C and +70°C, the product is shipped in its own dedicated protective carrying bag.
